THRACE. Abdera. Circa 411/0-386/5 BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 16 mm, 2.89 g, 2 h), Kleantides, magistrate. Griffin, with curved wings, seated to left, raising right foreleg. Rev. ΚΛΕ-AN-TI-Δ-Η-Σ Head and neck of a sacrificial bull with filleted horns facing three-quarters to right; all within square incuse. BMFA 767 (same dies). May, Abdera, 300 (A219/P255). Warren 454 (same dies). A fresh and attractive example. Minor areas of weakness, otherwise, good very fine.
